STOCK GILL.
About half the way to Stock Gill Force, from Ambleside, is
on the horse road to the groves, and the remainder of that
way, after having crossed a field about one hundred yards
over, is by the side of the brook; and the Stock Gill scene,
here presented, is taken near that part of the path which
joins the brook.
